Dolores Rice is an experienced grant writer and fundraising researcher. She has written proposals for grants as large as $3.75 million and as small as $1,000. She holds an M.S. in Instructional Design and Development, which enhances her ability to research and document projects. In addition to freelancing in her spare time, she holds a full-time position as a Contract and Grant Specialist at Lehigh University.

She has spent more than 29 years in the publications and communications field. She spent 9 years as grant writer for Lehigh University's Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations. Prior to that, she wrote, edited, and published books, newsletters, brochures, proposals, and more with the international Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat, now located in Chicago, IL, for 18 years.

Early in her career, she worked for Chilton Publishing Company in Radnor, PA and Biological Sciences Abstracts in Philadelphia as an editor.
